Florian De Sigy

FLORIAN DE SIGY is the founder and Managing Partner of Gamma Finance. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Florian has overall strategic control of the Intermediary and the Investment Advisory business lines.


Prior to setting up Gamma Finance, Florian was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where he was European Head of Structured Equity and Fund Derivatives Sales, based in London. Prior to this, he headed structured products sales to third-party and retail clients in Germany & Austria. Florian joined Deutsche Bank in 2002 from Société Générale (1997-2002) where he worked with equity derivative structured products in Paris, and as a sales-trader on foreign exchange derivatives and money markets in Vienna.


Florian graduated with diplomas from the Technische Universität (Diplom-Kaufmann) in Berlin and the Ecole de Management de Lyon (EM Lyon Business School).

Benjamin Keefe

BENJAMIN KEEFE joined Gamma Finance as Director. As Head of the Advisory business, Benjamin is responsible for hedge fund analysis, due diligence and structured solutions.

Benjamin was previously with UBS Investment Bank where he was a Director responsible for the holistic risk assessments of new business initiatives and complex trades. Between 2006 and 2009 Benjamin was a member of the Investment Committee at Nedgroup Investments where he advised on the management of $650m in hedge fund and long-only investments. Benjamin had direct responsibility for co-managing two fund-of-hedge-funds. He was the Senior Investment Analyst responsible for manager selection and due diligence specialising in credit and fixed income strategies, and funds with illiquid underlying assets.

Prior to this Benjamin was a hedge fund analyst with HSBC Investment Bank (2001-2006), where he also worked with the Structured Credit Trading Desk. He began his career at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

Benjamin graduated with LLB Law from the University of Exeter.

Miroslaw Izienicki

 

MIROSLAW IZIENICKI joined Gamma Finance as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.  In his role, Miroslaw is responsible for all operational, financial and compliance matters. 

Miroslaw previously founded a Think Tank and Leadership Counsel, Fifth Capital (2000-2011), with a focus on financial institutions promoting best practise for corporate strategy, risk management and governance.  Miroslaw was an invited high level speaker at the OECD and has had numerous ‘thought leadership’ articles published.

Miroslaw was head of Corporate Finance at Nikko Securities (1995-1999), where his experience extended across investment, commercial and private banking sectors.  His client coverage included Governments, corporates, UHNW and family offices.   Miroslaw was Chief Operating Officer with the Madison Trust Company (1989-1995), where he originated investments and supervised all operational matters.


Miroslaw holds a MSc in Psychology and Language from University College London (UCL), and graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, with a BA (Hons) and MA in Engineering and Management Studies.

 

Clémence Petit

CLÉMENCE PETIT joined Gamma Finance as Senior Vice-President. Clemence’s expertise covers Secondary Market Intermediation as well as Third Party Marketing. Clemence covers the European market with a strong focus on Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and France.


Prior to joining Gamma Finance, Clemence worked at Credit Lyonnais Securities in Madrid, London and Paris in European Equity Sales, responsible for Benelux and Spanish institutional clients. Prior to this role, Clémence worked with BNP Paribas Madrid in the Private banking branch. She also worked at Société Générale in Paris in the Debt & Currencies Department within the Origination team.


Clémence holds a Masters in European Business Management from EAP-ESCP. She graduated with a Degree in French Commercial Law and Spanish Law from Nanterre University in France and University Carlos 3rd in Spain.

Dan Nolan

DAN NOLAN joined Gamma as Vice President. Dan is responsible for Secondary Market Intermediation as well as Third Party Marketing.


Prior to Gamma, Dan was the Secondary Market Specialist for illiquid Alternative Assets on the trading desk at Citco Bank Dublin Branch. Between 2007 and 2010, Dan was recruited to the Davy Stockbrokers Graduate programme in Dublin, gaining valuable experience in portfolio management and institutional sales and trading. He is a registered representative of the Irish Stock Exchange and a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).


Dan graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance (Hons) in 2006 and an MA in Economics in 2007.

Ruth Morgan

 

RUTH MORGAN joined Gamma as Head of Operations, and is responsible for all logistical, operational and administrative processes.  Ruth’s role focuses on ensuring best practice standards and procedures across all areas of the business.  

Previously Ruth was a Senior Consultant for a private forensic firm (2003-2011), where she was Head of Department. Her responsibilities included data integrity control, feasibility assessments, budget management and reconciliation of project costs. Ruth was also responsible for the recruitment, training and assessment of staff and ultimately responsible for her departmental budget. She brings with her a wealth of experience in analysis, client relations and management, and standardisation of documentational and technical processes.  Ruth worked directly with large institutions on internal investigations, providing advice on procedures dealing with sensitive or confidential material.
